Ramsey is not part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans and has failed to justify his big billing since he joined Juventus on a free transfer in 2019.

Juventus want to get rid of his wages in the winter transfer window and have reportedly been in talks with his agents with suggestions that they are even prepared to terminate his contract.

The former Arsenal midfielder has been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League and Newcastle are interested in signing him.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, the Magpies are indeed keen to get their hands on the Welshman and are preparing to make a big move in January.

Eddie Howe wants reinforcements for his squad as he looks to help Newcastle to navigate out of the relegation zone.

Ramsey’s Premier League experience is being looked at as a positive as Newcastle look to bring him in during the winter window.

But they are likely to face stiff competition from Everton where Rafael Benitez also wants to bring in a midfielder in January.

Newcastle have the funds to blow Everton out of the water if they want, but it remains to be seen which club Ramsey would be interested in joining.
