Mazraoui’s future at the Johan Cruyff Arena is under the scanner as he is yet to commit to a new deal at the club with his current contract set to expire next summer.

Amidst the growing uncertainty around his future, Mazraoui has attracted interest from abroad, where Arsenal and Leeds United are two of the clubs to have taken note of his situation.

Clubs keen on Mazraoui could try to sign him in the upcoming winter transfer window, but Raiola has revealed that the full-back is unlikely to leave Ajax next month.

“I don’t think he will leave during the winter break”, Raiola said on Dutch broadcaster NOS’ Studio Voetbal programme.

Raiola refused to rule out the possibility of the Arsenal and Leeds target extending his stint at Ajax, although he stressed it is a difficult process.

“It [renewing Mazraoui’s contract at Ajax] is a difficult process, but nothing is ruled out.

“There are differences in opinion about the financial status of the player.”

Mazraoui has been at Ajax since the summer of 2006, joining their youth side, but could leave the club in the coming months as he looks for the next step in his career.
