The Brazilian winger’s future recently came under the scanner when there were claims in South America that Bayern Munich are close to signing him in a €50m deal.

Sources in Germany cooled down the suggestions this week, insisting that Bayern Munich are only likely to sign a winger if they can sell one in January, which could be unlikely.

Leeds have no plans to sell Raphinha and the claims from South America did not worry the Whites.

It has been claimed that Bayern Munich have not made any contact with Leeds over signing Raphinha.

The winger is happy at Leeds and for the moment, there are no suggestions that he will be leaving the Whites soon.

Leeds are in discussions to offer him a new contract, which would replace his current deal that lasts until 2024.

The Whites want to offer him a pay rise and the winger and his agent are receptive to signing a new deal with the Elland Road outfit.

Raphinha acknowledges what Leeds have done for his career and for the moment, he is happy to stay at the club.
