Coutinho is one of the players Barcelona have been trying to shift out for the last few transfer windows without much success.

Ahead of the winter transfer window, Barcelona are again trying to find a solution for the midfielder, who is keen to leave the club next month.

It is claimed that Coutinho prefers a move to Arsenal, with his agents trying to place him in the Premier League, but the finances need to make sense for the Gunners.

And according to Brazilian outlet UOL, Coutinho is even prepared to play the latter half of the season in Brazil if he can find a club in his homeland.

The player wants to play regular football going forward and wants to be in contention for the Brazil squad for the World Cup next winter.

He is keen to explore the possibility of playing in Brazil in the second half of the season if an agreement can be reached.

The player’s representatives will soon hold talks with Barcelona and discuss a potential move to Brazil.

However, Coutinho would likely have to accept a wage cut or get Barcelona to agree to pay most of his salary if he is to move to a Brazilian club next month.
