Kelly has been at Bournemouth since 2019 and his stock has been on the rise due to his consistent performances in the Championship.

The defender has been attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League and his future is under the scanner ahead of the January transfer window.

Eddie Howe, who originally signed him for Bournemouth, is keen to raid his former club and take him to Newcastle next month.

West Ham boss David Moyes also has his eyes on Kelly as he looks to bring in a centre-back in January but it has been claimed that Bournemouth are prepared to resist selling him.

The Cherries do not want to lose a key player as they push to get promoted to the Premier League this season.

They are prepared to dig their heels in order to keep Kelly at the Vitality Stadium and only a mega-money bid could change their mind.

Bournemouth will only consider letting him go if they receive an offer that would be too good to turn down.

It remains to be seen whether West Ham or Newcastle are ready to pay over the odds for Kelly next month.
