In their last league outing, the Red Devils dropped points against relegation zone dwellers Newcastle United and today they take on another bottom-dwelling team in the shape of Burnley.

Burnley have not played a game since the middle of the month, but today’s game will be the Red Devils’ second of the week.

Mee stressed that the Clarets are aiming to go to Old Trafford to throw a spanner into the works and disturb the Red Devils.

The Burnley captain thinks that getting a result at Old Trafford would lay a good foundation for the Clarets themselves to shoot up the table and warned Manchester United his team will go at them.

Speaking to Burnley’s official site, Mee said: “I even thought in April this year that we gave a good performance despite going on to lose late on.

“We’re confident, we’ll look to go there and disrupt them and get at them for sure.

“There’s some world class players there, they’re a good side and can be very dangerous.

“But there’s a chance for us to go there and get something and begin climbing up the table.”

Manchester United are seven points below fourth-placed Arsenal in the league table, but they have two games in hand and after not seizing the opportunity to gain ground on their rivals against Newcastle United, they will be eager to get the win against Burnley.
