Scamacca, now a senior Italy international, has been a Sassuolo player since January 2017, but it is only this season that he has started shining for the Serie A club.

Though he has played in all 19 of Sassuolo’s Serie A games this season, he was only making cameo appearances towards the beginning of the campaign but has now picked up steam.

Since opening his tally in October, the striker has six goals to his name for the Serie A team this season and his form has not gone unnoticed.

Among the admirers of the striker is Paratici and he is following the progress of Scamacca in Serie A closely.

Spurs are interested in deepening their centre-forward area, with fellow Serie A striker Dusan Vlahovic being a target, and Scamacca could become another player the London club decide to pursue.

If they do enter the race though they could face tough competition from Italian giants Inter and Juventus, who are both keen on the player.

Scamacca’s contract with Sassuolo runs until the end of the 2024/25 season and it remains to be seen whether the striker will depart the club after finally nailing down a spot in the team recently.
