While manager Steven Gerrard is in the process of recruiting stars for his senior team, the Villans are also planning for the future of their youngsters.

18-years old left-back Sebastian Revan ended his loan spell at Grimsby Town today and has returned to Villa Park and the Villans have also secured the short-term future of Chukwuemeka.

Livingston have snapped up the young forward on a loan deal after his impressive performances for the Villans Under-23’s this season in the Premier League 2.

Martindale appreciates the different attributes the youngster brings to his Livingston team as he is comfortable playing in any position up front.

Speaking to Livingston’s official website, Martindale said: “He can play anywhere across the front 3 and will give us different options in the forthcoming games as he offers a very different skill set to what we have at the club already.”

The forward shone for the Villans’ Under-23s this season, slotting home seven goals and providing five assists in nine games and he will be hoping his loan spell in Scotland turns out just as successful.
