The 28-year-old forward has been on the north London club’s radar since he came close to joining them in the summer of 2019, only for the early-closing transfer window in the Premier League to mean they ran out of time.

He has a few months left on his contract and has largely been expected to sign a new deal with Juventus to extend his stay.

But the negotiations have not been going according to plan and Dybala is now believed to be irritated at the way Juventus have approached the situation.

Inter are alive to the possibility of snapping him up on a free transfer in the summer and according to Italian daily La Repubblica, Tottenham are also interested in the situation.

Fabio Paratici has a good understanding of the inner workings at Juventus and is keen to take Dybala to Tottenham in the summer.

Juventus are hopeful that an agreement will be in place but are prepared to drag it out until March or April to see whether Dybala signs a new deal.

The forward wants a contract worth €12m per year but for the moment Juventus do not want to go beyond €10m per season.

The Argentine is prepared to sign for money on offer from Juventus if he is given a longer contract.
