Kabasele made at least 20 appearances for Watford in the league in the last three seasons, but this campaign has been rough for him.

He played in the Hornets’ first two games of the Premier League season, but has made only one more substitute appearance since.

Kasimpasa are currently in the relegation zone of the Turkish top flight and are looking to add a centre-back to their ranks this window.

They have identified Kabasele as a defender suited to their set-up and have begun talks, according to Turkish outlet Ajansspor.

Apart from the Turkish club, Serie A side Udinese have also been linked with the centre-back, with the Italian club sharing ownership with Watford.

It is believed though that Kabasele wants to stay put at Vicarage Road and thus the Turkish club might have their work cut out for them.

The centre-back’s deal at Vicarage Road runs until the end of the 2023/24 season but he could be out of the door much sooner.
