Zakaria is out of contract at the end of the season and is open to leaving Borussia Monchengladbach in the ongoing transfer window.

Manchester United have been in contact with his agent and the club are considering taking the midfielder to Old Trafford as Ralf Rangnick pushes to bring in midfield reinforcements.

Arsenal want to sign Arthur from Juventus, but despite the player wanting the move, there is no prospect of it happening until he has been replaced in Turin.

And in a boost for the Gunners, according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the Italian giants are in talks to sign the player and a broad agreement is in place with Gladbach over a fee for Zakaria.

Juventus are in negotiations with the midfielder’s camp as they look to work out a contractual agreement.

Should a deal happen, it would open the door for Arthur to leave.

The Brazilian’s agent is in London to hold talks with Arsenal who want to sign him on loan.

The Italian giants want to loan out Arthur for 18 months and want a purchase clause in the agreement as well.
