Cadametri has impressed in Yorkshire with his performances with the Owls’ Under-18s and is a self-avowed fan of the club.

The 16-year old striker starred for the Owls in the FA Youth Cup by scoring the only goal in a third round win over Southampton and followed it up with a lively display in the victory over Preston North End in midweek.

His performances roused the attention of two London Premier League clubs in Brentford and West Ham as they monitored his situation.

It is the Hammers though that are more intent on the starlet and have already made enquiries about him in their attempt to bring him to London.

However, the young striker is completely happy at the Yorkshire club where he has been  since the age of nine.

Cadamarteri wants to stay on with the Owls to develop naturally with them and with his 17th birthday approaching he is eligible to sign his first professional contract.

The Owls take on Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup and the starlet will be hoping he helps his team make a deep run in the competition.
