Ndombele is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans and he has been training away from the rest of the first-team squad.

Tottenham are looking to offload the Frenchman before the end of the ongoing transfer window, but they have found it hard to attract suitors for him this month.

Roma and Napoli have shown an interest but his wage demands have put them off and PSG are now holding talks with Tottenham over taking Ndombele to the French capital.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Fabio Paratici and his PSG counterpart, Leonardo, have discussed potential swap deals as well involving Ndombele.

But those negotiations have not gone anywhere and nothing concrete has emerged from those conversations.

Not too many PSG players are looking to move on from the club and Spurs have only shown a fleeting interest in Leandro Paredes.

PSG need to move on a few players before they can try and sign Ndombele in the ongoing window.

Tottenham are open to a loan but it needs to include a purchase clause and the buying club need to cover 100 per cent of Ndombele’s wages.
