Ndombele could be on the move from Tottenham before the transfer window closes amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who want him on loan.

If Ndombele does go then Tottenham want to bring in a replacement and they have put Amrabat on their list of options.

The 25-year-old is currently on the books at Italian Serie A side Fiorentina, who he joined from Hellas Verona in 2020, having enjoyed a superb campaign at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

Amrabat is a senior Morocco international and is in action at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

The midfielder has made eleven appearances for Fiorentina in Serie A this season, spanning just 214 minutes of football.

Amrabat operates primarily as a defensive midfielder and has now turned out 76 times in Serie A.

He counts FC Utrecht, Feyenoord and Club Brugge amongst his former clubs, in addition to Hellas Verona.

Fiorentina have him locked down on a contract until the summer of 2024.
