Antonio Conte has sidelined the midfielder from his squad and Spurs are already closing in on a deal to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina in the coming days.

The north London club are pushing to let the player go and PSG appeared the most likely destination, but the switch is now becoming less likely.

Talks are under way between the two clubs but PSG are finding it hard to move on a midfielder that would free up space in the squad to sign Ndombele.

Bayer Leverkusen have made an approach to sign the midfielder as well, but according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the player is prioritising joining PSG.

It has been claimed that the Frenchman is keeping aside all offers to push through a move to the Parisians.

Leverkusen are keen but for the moment they are not the club Ndombele is looking to join.

PSG will have to move out someone in the final days of the window in order to secure a deal to sign the Frenchman.
