The winger moved to north London in the summer from La Liga giants Sevilla, his first stint outside his homeland Spain, and much was expected from someone dubbed a bright talent.

However, Gil has struggled for regular game time at Spurs and is yet to start a single Premier League game so far this season.

And according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, the 20-year-old wants to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at all costs in the ongoing window.

Gil is not happy in the English capital and is having a hard time adapting to the cut and thrust of Premier League football.

The ex-Sevilla starlet wants a change of scenery this month as he has struggled to acclimatise to the cultural differences in England.

Should Gil leave Tottenham this month, he is not short of suitors at the moment as La Liga duo Valencia and Real Sociedad, along with Ligue 1 outfit Nice are keen on signing him on loan.

But, it has been claimed that Spurs will only be open to letting the winger go once they seal a deal for Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
