The Premier League giants invested heavily into Amad in the summer of 2020 when they offered big money to snare him away from Italian club Atalanta.

He has featured nine times for the Red Devils and the club were close to loaning him to the Netherlands last summer before he suffered an injury.

Manchester United were looking for a loan club for him in January as well and it has been claimed that Rangers are now on the verge of signing him.

An agreement is in place between the two clubs and Amad has already reached Scotland to undergo a medical.

The two clubs are sorting out the paperwork for the winger to join Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

Once the medical is done, the 19-year-old will sign a loan contract and stay in Scotland until the summer.

Ralf Rangnick approved the winger’s loan move to Rangers and Manchester United still see a big future for him at Old Trafford.

He will help Rangers deal with the loss of Ianis Hagi to injury.
