The 20-year-old has turned heads with his performances for Hull in the Championship and is now attracting the eyeballs of Premier League sides.

Tottenham are claimed to be ready to buy him and then loan him back to Hull to see out the season, while Brentford recently failed with an offer of over £10m; they are suggested to be ready to return for Lewis-Potter.

Tigers owner Ilicali though is firmly against the sale and is hoping that Lewis-Potter will stay put at the club, with the side ready to resist, even if £20m is offered.

“We are very proud to have a player in our club that has seen an offer as big as that come in. I think they will pay more”, he told Hull Live.

“At this moment, even if they pay £20m I will not sell him.”

Lewis-Potter is a product of Hull’s youth system and started to clock regular game time for the Tigers in the 2019/20 campaign.

Hull currently sit in 19th in the Championship standings and have just appointed a new manager in the shape of former Rangers striker Shota Arveladze.
