West Ham are showing keen interest in both Leeds players as they look to inject fresh impetus into their bid to secure Champions League football next season.

It was first claimed they had put in a big money offer for Raphinha, which was knocked back, and then followed it up with a proposal to take Phillips to London.

However, Leeds did not receive formal offers from West Ham for the pair.

The Hammers do want to duo though and calls were made to the Yorkshire giants to ask about possible deals.

During those calls the Whites made clear that they were not interested in selling Raphinha and Phillips to West Ham this month.

With a possible relegation battle to contend with this season, Leeds do not want to let two key players go during this month’s transfer window.

Phillips and Raphinha are on the radar of a number of clubs and the Whites could still be tested with offers before the transfer window shuts on Monday night.
