As the transfer deadline approaches, Newcastle are still working intensely in the market as they seek to bring in new players.

They are poised to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon, but are also looking for centre-backs and a striker to boost their chances of staying in the Premier League.

And Newcastle are prepared to let Woodman go out on loan as they look to free up a spot in their Premier League squad.

The shot-stopper is attracting interest from Championship side Bournemouth.

Woodman came close to joining Bournemouth in the last summer transfer window, but the deal could not be completed as Newcastle custodian Martin Dubravka suffered an injury.

The 24-year-old is keen to make sure he is playing regular football in the remaining months of the season.

Bournemouth are chasing promotion to the Premier League and currently sit third in the Championship standings.
