Ramsey has emerged as the shock deadline target for Rangers, who have embarked on an ambitious move to take him to Scotland.

The midfielder has been waiting in a private airport terminal in the UK over the last few hours as his agent juggled around offers for him.

There were offers from the Premier League but the Welshman has reportedly given his approval to a potential move to the Scottish champions.

Rangers are pushing to sign him on loan but Juventus are pushing for an option to buy clause in the agreement.

The Italian giants want €5m to €6m if Rangers decide to buy him outright following his loan spell.

His agent has been working on the paperwork with Rangers believed to be prepared to accept the purchase clause

Rangers have until midnight to carry out the process to sign the 31-year-old midfielder from Juventus.
