Talented prospect McAtee has not yet signed a new contract at Manchester City, with his current deal running out in 18 months, and was keen to leave on loan.
He had offers from Rangers, Bournemouth, QPR, Swansea City, Huddersfield, along with clubs in Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium.
McAtee though has chosen to knock them all back to stay at Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola has promised the 19-year-old he will be given chances to break into the first team at the Etihad Stadium.
And the midfielder now wants to continue his development under Guardiola until the summer.
He is still in talks with the Citizens over a new contract and is expected to put pen to paper to fresh terms soon.
All eyes will be on whether McAtee can play for Manchester City’s senior team this season as he is keen to play first team football.
