The Toffees ended Alli’s lengthy association with Tottenham Hotspur before the January transfer window closed, taking him to Goodison Park on an initial free transfer.

If the midfielder plays 20 games then Everton will have to pay £10m for him, while the total could rise to around £40m dependent upon various add-ons and bonuses.

Now Everton have been showing off Alli, taking to social media to post a photograph they believe their fans want to see.

Alli was pictured in an Everton shirt signing his contract at the club.

New Toffees boss Frank Lampard will be looking to get the best out of Alli and help him get his career back on track.

The midfielder started to decline late during Mauricio Pochettino’s reign and now successive Spurs managers have failed to help him to recapture his previous heights.

Everton still have to travel to north London to play Tottenham in the Premier League this season and when they do so in early March, Alli could be in action.
