Zidane is PSG’s choice to succeed Pochettino and according to French outlet Foot Mercato, the club are prepared to offer him a massive contract.
The figure likely to be offered would be much more than Pochettino’s current €8m per year salary or the €12m Zidane got in his last job at Real Madrid.
The Parisians are also ready to hand full control to Zidane, which could pave the way for Leonardo’s departure from the club.
Pochettino is now the favourite to become the next Manchester United manager in the summer.
