The Hammers’ fourth round opponents are five divisions below them in the English football pyramid and in the third round they overcame Championship club Reading.

The Harriers faced off against the Hammers in the 1993/94 season as well in the FA Cup, the only competitive fixture between the two, and on that occasion only one goal separated the two as the Irons won.

Fornals is aware that the FA Cup provides a rare opportunity for teams in the lower rungs of the English football pyramid to showcase their wares.

Thus the Hammers star is not expecting an easy game against the non-league side and thinks that Harriers can make life difficult for the Hammers.

Speaking to West Ham’s official site, Fornals said: “I’m expecting a difficult game.

“When you’re in the FA Cup, teams from the lower divisions have the platform to really show how good they are, so it’s not going to be easy at all.

“We know Kidderminster will be up for this match, so it will be a big game for us.”

Burnley were on the wrong end the last time non-league opposition defeated a top-flight team in the FA Cup and thus the Hammers will be hoping that things run smoothly as expected against the sixth tier side this weekend.
