The Dutch team took on the Foxes in the Europa Conference League quarter-finals, with the first leg played on Thursday at the King Power Stadium.

Madueke started for the Dutch team and the game ultimately ended up a goalless draw, with the young winger being withdrawn only after playing more than 80 minutes.

Madueke has impressed for the Eredivisie side in the last two seasons and it has led to him receiving interest from the Premier League.

Among those English clubs interested are Aston Villa and Gerrard was present to observe the winger at the King Power Stadium.

The Villans are interested in a summer move for Madueke, though they may have to contend with Leicester for the player’s signature.

Madueke was born in England and was part of the Tottenham Hotspur academy before transferring to PSV in the summer of 2018.

Despite battling with injuries, the winger has made more than 30 appearances this season, including all competitions, and has registered nine goals in addition to five assists.
