Leeds posted a crucial 3-0 win over Watford at Vicarage Road today, which got them closer to confirming survival in the Premier League for one more season.
The Whites are nine points clear of the relegation zone and very few are expecting them to suffer the drop after they picked up ten points from their last four Premier League games.
Higginbotham admitted that the win over Watford is massive for Leeds and believes that they are more or less now expected to stay in the Premier League for one more season.
The former defender believes a lot of it is down to Marsch, who he feels brought more stability and organisation to the Leeds side after taking charge of them in February.
Higginbotham took to Twitter and wrote: “Another massive win for Leeds United.
“Jesse Marsch doing a brilliant job. Brought stability and structure to the team.
“As good as safe now.”
Leeds will travel to south London next when they will take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on 25th April.
