Leeds managed to grind out a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park on Monday night and left south London with another point in their quest to survive in the Premier League this season.

The Whites remain 16th in the league table and have a five-point lead over Everton, who are 18th in the Premier League standings at the moment.

Jesse Marsch’s side were not at their best but they managed to get a valuable point and kept a clean sheet away from home.

Keys insisted that Leeds showed how to grind out a result and get an incredibly good point at this stage of the season against the Eagles.

The former Sky Sports anchor insisted that had Bielsa still been their manager, Leeds probably would have lost that game in south London.

Keys took to Twitter and wrote: “Brilliant point for Leeds. That’s the way to grind out survival.

“If Bielsa is in charge they lose that game.”

The point is likely to feel more valuable, given Leeds are set to take on Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea in their next three top flight fixtures.
