Leipzig will come into the second leg of their Europa League semi-final tie with a 1-0 advantage after Angelino’s late strike changed the make-up of the tie on Thursday night.

Rangers will bank on their home form and the Ibrox faithful to inspire them again as they look to reach their first European final in 14 years.

The home support has played a big role in Rangers’ fairy tale European run this season, but Tedesco stressed that his players are not feeling wary about playing in such a heated atmosphere next week.

He is also hopeful that Rangers will come out of their shell a bit and play a bit more attacking at home and indicated that their tactics were too defensive in the first leg on Thursday night.

The RB Leipzig coach was quoted as saying by German broadcaster Sport1: “We are not afraid, we are looking forward to it.

“It will be a great pleasure to play in a stadium like that.

“They have to play differently at home at some point, which can be good for us and the game.

“They have to play forward.”

When asked about Rangers’ defensive tactics, he said: “It’s brutal.

“We know we still have 90 minutes to go.”

Rangers have a big Old Firm derby on Sunday against Celtic before they can focus on Leipzig next week.
