The Whites have invested substantial amounts in player recruitment to their youth squads in recent windows and have seen a clutch of their Under-23s players make the leap to senior football.

New Leeds boss Jesse Marsch has ambitions to transform the club’s academy into one of the best in Europe, while he also sees several Under-23s players playing bigger roles under him next season.

A large majority of players at Leeds have contracts at the club that will ensure they will remain at the club beyond this season, but Under-23s starlet Kenneh is in the final year of his deal.

Leeds have been evaluating the centre-back’s future at the club and could offer him a new deal.

Kenneh has been a fixture in the Premier League 2 for the Whites this season, racking up 25 appearances in total.

The 19-year-old has also made the bench 13 times for Leeds so far in the Premier League, although he is yet to make his top flight debut.

It remains to be seen whether Kenneh will be handed a new contract at Leeds, while their own future in the top flight remains up in the air.
