The Brazilian midfielder was on Arsenal’s radar in January but they failed to work out an agreement with Juventus for his signature.
Juventus are prepared to sell him and Arsenal are again believed to be interested in getting their hands on Arthur.
The Serie A giants are plotting to use Arsenal’s interest in the midfielder in order to secure a deal to sign Gabriel.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal would be receptive to such a deal even if they are open to selling the defender.
