The Frenchman had a stellar campaign with Leipzig and his exploits in Germany and Europe has seen him pop up on the transfer radars of several top clubs across the continent.

 

Premier League heavyweights Liverpool and Chelsea are keen on a move for the France international, with both clubs looking to bolster their attacking departments in the summer, while Manchester United and Real Madrid are also interested in him.

 

 

Nkunku is contracted at Leipzig until the summer of 2024, but they are keen to tie him down to a new deal.

 

However, according to German outlet Spox and Goal, Nkunku is hesitant to extend his stint at the Red Bull Arena, which is a boost to his suitors in the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.

 

 

The Leipzig hierarchy are optimistic about their chances of holding on to Nkunku beyond this summer..

 

They could be tested though with a substantial offer for his services.

 

 

Nkunku grabbed an impressive 35 goals in 51 outings across all competitions for Leipzig in the recent season.
