The 29-year-old goalkeeper spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at West Ham and made eleven Premier League appearances for the club.

West Ham have an option to buy him and there are claims that the club intend to sign him on a permanent deal after he impressed them this year.

But so far, there has been no movement on that front and Areola is keen to get his future sorted out as soon as possible.

According to French radio station RMC, his representation are set to meet PSG officials in the coming days to discuss the goalkeeper’s future.

Areola still has a year left on his PSG contract and the French champions want to sell him this summer.

With West Ham yet to trigger the option to buy, PSG and his representatives will take a stock of the situation during the meeting.

David Moyes wants to bring in one more goalkeeper this summer and has his eyes on Sam Johnstone.

Areola has been a solid number 2 at West Ham but for the moment, his future remains undecided.
