Gyokeres signed on a permanent deal with the Sky Blues last summer and became a reliable member of their squad, missing only one game in the Championship.

In his 45 league appearances, the striker scored 17 goals, providing five assists and his displays have seen him become of interest to Middlesbrough and Premier League side Fulham.

Gyokeres stressed that he aims to play at the best possible destination but he is content with waiting as events unfold in the summer.

“I always aim as high up as possible”, Gyokeres said to Swedish outlet fotbollskanalen when asked about transfer speculation.

“We’ll see what happens this summer.”

The Swedish striker also revealed that he has no clue if he will remain with the Sky Blues next season amid links with a move away from his current club.

“I have no idea”, Gyokeres added when asked if he will stay with Coventry City.

“I’m there now anyway.”

Gyokeres’ contract with the Sky Blues has two years remaining on it and it remains to be seen whether they are willing to let him go after signing him permanently just last summer.
