Ange Postecoglou is looking to add strength in depth to his Celtic squad ahead of a season which will see Champions League football back at Celtic Park.

The Bhoys boss is keen to taking Manchester City talent Harwood-Bellis north of the border on a loan deal.

Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany, who is taking charge at Burnley, also wants Harwood-Bellis.

And it is the Clarets who are ahead of Celtic in the chase to take the Manchester City talent on a loan deal.

A switch to Burnley would put Harwood-Bellis close to Manchester City for the club to monitor, while he would also be in the careful hands of club legend Kompany.

Celtic appear to have work to do if they are to beat Burnley to the player.

Harwood-Bellis has had three loan stints away from the Premier League champions so far, spending time at Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht, where he played under Kompany, and Stoke City.
