Robins talent McAllister is the son of Hibernian assistant boss Jamie McAllister and has turned heads with his performances and progress in Bristol City’s youth ranks.

Rangers have been strongly linked with holding an interest in the teenager, while now it has emerged that their rivals Celtic are scouting him.

Celtic have spotted McAllister’s development and are keeping close tabs on him.

The 16-year-old attacking midfielder is firmly on Celtic’s radar and they could be set to battle for his signature in the future.

McAllister also has interest from the Premier League in the shape of Aston Villa.

Former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has his scouts keeping a close eye on the youngster and reporting back.

Bristol City are unlikely to want to lose McAllister so early into his career and all eyes will be on how he continues to develop under the watchful eye of the Robins’ youth coaches.
