The Owls have already signed a shot-stopper in former Wycombe Wanderers star David Stockdale, while Cameron Dawson has returned from an impressive loan spell.

Dawson spent the previous season at League Two club Exeter City and in 45 appearances in the fourth tier he kept 18 clean sheets.

Still, after the departure of Bailey Peacock-Farrell back to parent club Burnley, the Owls are claimed to be wanting to add to their goalkeeper department.

However, at present Sheffield Wednesday do not have signing a goalkeeper near the top of their list of things to do still in the summer.

Manager Darren Moore and the club are concentrating on other areas of the pitch and in addition to Stockdale, Sheffield Wednesday have also added in the defence and midfield areas so far this summer.

However, bringing in another shot-stopper is not out of the realm of possibility as discussions about it are still going on at Hillsborough, even though it is not top of the list.

The Owls also have Pierce Charles and Jack Hall from their academy in the goalkeeping department, but they are not expected to compete for senior minutes.
