Zaniolo’s future at Roma is under the scanner as they are claimed to be open to offers for him this summer.
The winger has admirers in rival Serie A sides in the shape of Juventus and AC Milan while he has also attracted interest from the Premier League.
Tottenham football director Fabio Paratici has been in Milan this week and he met with the Roma hierarchy to enquire about Zaniolo, a player he has admired for a long time.
But according to Italian daily Il Messaggero, the list of potential suitors for Zaniolo is growing as Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim are also interested in him.
The Germans have lodged an enquiry about Zaniolo’s asking price, although a move to the Bundesliga is looking unlikely.
Zaniolo prefers to remain in Italy should he leave Roma this summer, while Hoffenheim are also not considered to be among the top clubs in Europe at present.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will make any concrete moves for Zaniolo this summer, as they gear up for a season back in the Champions League.
