Spurs are in the process of strengthening ahead of a season with Champions League football and they have shown interest in Richarlison.

However, despite having financial issues, Everton are determined not to let the Brazil international go for under their valuation, which is suggested to be in excess of £50m.

Tottenham have shown no willingness to meet Everton’s valuation, but they would be prepared to let Lucas go to Goodison Park if Richarlison does head to them.

Lucas could slot into the ranks under Frank Lampard, providing an extra attacking outlet, with Richarlison heading the other way.

Everton are keen on Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks.

The Toffees have held talks with Spurs over a possible loan move for Winks, who is free to depart north London this summer.

Lampard is currently working with a limited transfer budget at Everton, but the club are the subject of takeover interest.
