Chelsea are in the market for a big-money centre-back in the ongoing transfer window after losing two big defenders on free transfers.

The Blues are in the talks to sign Matthijs de Ligt and are prepared to offer Timo Werner to Juventus as part of a potential deal.

There is still no agreement and there are claims that Chelsea also have an interest in Inter centre-back Skriniar as part of their plans as well.

But according to Italian outlet FcInterNews.it, the defender’s representatives were not aware of the interest from Chelsea until very recently.

The Blues are yet to make any meaningful contact with his entourage over a potential deal this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain have been the ones who are pushing to sign the Slovak in the ongoing transfer window.

The interest from Chelsea has come out of nothing for his camp and they have left the two clubs to sort out any agreement first.

Inter are open to selling Skriniar as they need to make one big sale to balance the books this summer.
