The newly-promoted Premier League side have signed five players, with Manor Solomon coming on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk.

But Marco Silva is pushing for more new signings as Fulham seek to end the constant cycle of relegation and promotion and become a more stable outfit in the Premier League.

The Fulham boss wants more creativity in his squad and the club have turned their eyes towards getting Roma’s Kluivert.

According to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, the Cottagers are now preparing to launch a move to get a deal done to sign the Dutchman.

The winger spent last season on loan at Nice and has a year left on his contract with the Serie A giants.

He is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans and Roma are desperate to move him on before the transfer window ends in a few weeks’ time.

Talks are ongoing between Roma and Fulham for a potential deal to take Kluivert to Craven Cottage this summer.

There is optimism on both sides that a deal could be agreed for the Dutchman’s transfer to the Premier League.
