Dale was a bit part player last season and did not feature in Blackpool’s 1-0 win over Reading in the opening weekend of the Championship.

He is not part of Michael Appleton’s starting eleven and Blackpool are open to offers for him in the ongoing transfer window.

His representatives have been canvassing interest in him and Portsmouth have come forward with an interest in Dale.

And it has been claimed that the League One club are pushing to sign him on loan this summer.

Pompey boss Danny Cowley is interested in the player and has been pushing the club to sign Dale on loan for the season.

Talks are ongoing between the two clubs and an agreement could be reached soon for Dale to move to Portsmouth on loan.

There is optimism that the League One club could even get the deal done in time for the winger to play against Lincoln City on Saturday.
