Kalimuendo scored 12 Ligue 1 goals last season on loan at Lens and his future at PSG is under the scanner.

The forward would prefer to stay at PSG, but is aware that he is unlikely to play much and the club are open to letting him go on a permanent deal.

Leeds are prepared to offer more than €20m to sign the striker this summer, but the Whites are not his priority.

Rennes are one of the clubs Kalimuendo would prefer to join and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the French club are in talks with PSG for the forward.

He is the priority target for Rennes and the club are pushing to get a deal over the line to sign him.

Following the big departures of Nayef Aguerd and Mathys Tel, Rennes have the money to secure a permanent transfer for Kalimuendo.

PSG want between €25m to €30m for the striker and Rennes are prepared to fork out such sums.

Leeds are still in the race but Rennes appear to have the edge in the chase to sign Kalimuendo.
