Sarr was signed by Tottenham last summer from Metz, but was immediately loaned back to the French side on a season-long loan.

He has now finally become part of the Tottenham squad, but he could still spend this season out on loan as AC Milan are interested in his services.

The Italian giants have already started talks with Tottenham over a loan deal and Spurs could be willing to sanction one for the youngster this summer.

However, Tottenham want a loan deal without any option to buy as they believe in Sarr’s talents, whereas AC Milan want a purchase clause, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

It is a point of disagreement between AC Milan and Tottenham, as the Italian club do not want to sign Sarr and play him just to develop him for Spurs.

Spurs see him as a bright prospect and thus do not want a buy option included in the contract, and it remains to be seen if the disagreement is resolved.

On loan last season at Metz, Sarr missed only five matches and contributed with three assists, even as his team were relegated.
