Spurs signed the Senegalese from Metz last summer and he was immediately loaned out to the French club for the 2021/22 campaign.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been expected to be loaned out again this time around, with several clubs believed to be interested in him.

AC Milan are amongst the sides who have expressed an interest in getting their hands on the teenager but so far, he is still at Spurs.

And it has been claimed that the north London club will hold off making a decision on Sarr’s future until the end of the window.

Tottenham are focused on outgoings at the moment and are in talks to move on players such as Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Bryan Gil.

Sarr is also likely to be loaned out but Spurs are keen to delay the decision, leaving the door open to a potential stay.

Tottenham want the right loan for the teenager if he does go and are keen to assess all the options before making a decision.

The midfielder is unlikely to find out about his immediate future until towards the end of the window.
