Batshuayi spent last season on loan at Besiktas and scored 14 times in 42 appearances for the Turkish giants.

With only a year left on his contract, Chelsea are looking to sell him this summer and Frank Lampard has been linked with wanting to take Batshuayi to Goodison Park.

Fenerbahce however are also interested in securing a deal to sign the Belgian to take him to Turkey this summer.

According to Turkish outlet Haber, they have already held talks with Chelsea with a view to signing the striker on a permanent deal.

However, Fener feel Chelsea are asking for too much money for a player who has less than 12 months left to run on his contract.

The negotiations are ongoing and Fenerbahce are trying to negotiate down the transfer fee for the Chelsea striker.

They have a real interest in him but are not willing to do a deal under the terms being demanded by the Blues.

It remains to be seen if Everton or any of Batshuayi’s other suitors make a concrete move soon.
