Steve Cooper has been heavily backed in the transfer market this summer and Forest are continuing their efforts with a move for Hwang.

Nottingham Forest have put in a bid for Hwang, according to French sports daily L’Equipe, which comes to €4m plus €1m in bonuses, and it has been accepted by Bordeaux.

However, Forest face competition from the Premier League.

It is claimed that Wolves, who have also made an offer for Hwang, want the player, while Fulham are also keen on snapping him up.

Fulham though have not yet translated their interest in Hwang into a bid; the attacker wants to move to the Premier League.

Forest have also agreed a deal to sign Watford star Emmanuel Dennis, another striker reinforcement and they are looking to add the Bordeaux man as well.

The South Korean star has hit double figures in both of his last two seasons with the French team, getting on the scoresheet eleven times last term.
