Whites boss Jesse Marsch is keeping his eye on the MLS for potential arrivals and the Yorkshire club are in talks to sign Philadelphia Union left-back Kai Wagner.

The German defender is not the only MLS star that Marsch admires and he is also looking closely at Cincinnati forward Vazquez.

The 23-year-old, who will turn 24 in October, was signed by Cincinnati from Atalanta United in 2020.

He has been in form in the MLS so far this year, striking 15 times in just 24 MLS games and attracting attention from Leeds in the process.

Leeds are tracking him, but the Whites are unlikely to try to sign him this summer.

Marsch sees the MLS star as a longer-term option for Leeds and the club are likely to continue to monitor him.

A move in the January transfer window could make sense for Vazquez and Cincinnati as it would not interrupt the MLS season, which finishes in November.
