The 23-year-old forward has emerged as a target for Manchester United as they push to bring in an attacker before the end of the window.

The Premier League giants are in talks with his representatives and are hoping to sign him for a fee of €50m this summer.

The Red Devils are pushing to add Cunha to their squad as they look to recover from a disastrous start to their season under new manager Erik ten Hag.

But according to Spanish radio station Cadena SER’s El Larguero programme, Atletico Madrid are not interested in selling him.

The Spanish giants are in the mood to discuss a negotiated departure for Cunha in the ongoing window.

With only two weeks left in the transfer window, Atletico Madrid do not want to lose the forward.

Manchester United would have to trigger the release clause in the Brazilian’s contract if they want to sign him.

The buy-out clause figure is claimed to be significantly more than the €50m Manchester United are prepared to pay at the moment.
