The 22-year-old forward was left out of Marseille’s matchday squads for their first two league games and the club are looking to sell him this summer.

Marseille are actively trying to push him out and are prepared to accept fees in the region of €15m.

He has been offered to several Premier League clubs such as Everton and Frank Lampard is reportedly set to look at videos of the striker before taking a call on whether to sign him.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Nice are also pushing to sign the forward from Marseille in the final weeks of the window.

Lucien Favre likes Dieng and Nice are interested in signing the striker on an initial loan deal this summer.

However, Marseille are not interested in loaning him out and want to offload him in a permanent deal.

The French club are hoping to sell him to a club in the Premier League as they have the resources to meet their €15m asking price.

Dieng is prepared to move on but for the moment his future remains very much in the balance with two weeks left in the window.
